The Sounds Scary 2 CD set comes with a complete manual and also a quick reference guide. They were developed by Jon Bowen and Sarah Heath, and are the result of many years of experience of treating dogs with fireworks and other sound phobias.

They work for dogs who are either scared of fireworks or thunder or gunshot noises.

For best effect, it is recommended that the cds's are used along with a DAP

Fear of Fireworks CD

This Fear of Fireworks CD was recorded on the night of a fireworks party with lots of bangs, whizzes, squeaks and pops - some close and some far away.

Please play this on the best quality player your have. Start at a very low volume and gradually increase this volume over time. Your dog should only just notice the sounds.

This process takes time (1-3 months) and will not work when you are in the middle of the fireworks season. We also recommend that you seek help from your vet or a qualified behaviourist.

This Sounds CD has a mixture of 30 tracks divided into four categories of sounds:
Bangs
Transport
Household
People

This package includes a free training manual which explains how to use the CD effectively to desensitise your pet.

The 30 tracks are fireworks, thunder and lightening, guns, crow scarer, trains, plains, cars and busses etc, household noises and children, babies and a party.

Dog Appeasing Pheromone (DAP)

The DAP - or Dog Appeasing Pheromone helps to calm dogs by producing the same pheromones as are created by a bitch just after birth. Useful for many circumstances, they are particularly useful for helping to calm dogs with noise phobias or fireworks fear.

They are also useful to help dogs or puppies settle in a new home or a new sleeping place.

The DAP plug in includes one vial. Each vial (or re-fill) should last for about 1 month.

The Spray is useful to calm dogs and puppies in when travelling or for crate training.
