I have worked with animals for over 24 years, I have been training dogs for 15 years, cats and other companion animals for the last 7 years.

My career began as a Veterinary Nurse, I then moved onto Guide Dogs for the Blind where my passion for animal behaviour began. From here I launched my own enterprise  incorporating dog training and some behaviour modification as well as pet sitting, dog walking, a crèche for dogs, a hydrotherapy center and a grooming parlour. During all of this I found time to go to University to gain a Certificate in Applied Animal Behaviour. It didn’t end there, I continued to train and study wherever I could and gained an advanced Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Therapy with COAPE (Centre of Applied Pet Ethology) I graduated as a Coape Practitioner in Feb. 07. I sold off various parts of my enterprise prior to migrating to Australia and they still run today. (www.caninetroubleshooting.co.uk)

On my arrival to WA I was astounded by some of the old training philosophies that still circulate around the West Coast. This was evident throughout the training and behaviour industry from introductory methods to puppies to modifying varying degrees of problems. 

I aim to change that!
