At last! A truly PRACTICAL handling and training course with Sarah Whitehead and Stella Bagshaw. And - in Scotland!!

This two-day ALL-PRACTICAL canine handling and training course is designed to help students who already have good theoretical knowledge learn gentle, modern handling and training techniques in a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere.

We also have the added benefit of giving rescue dogs the training they need to find new homes!

 

What the student will learn

This course is designed to provide intensive instruction over two days, covering:

  • Understanding canine body language and facial expression
  • Assessing dogs’ temperament and training needs
  • Using positive reinforcement - training dogs using clicker training and teaching dogs to respond to environmental cues.
  • Practical handling and training with dogs in the centre
  • Teaching transferable skills - ensuring the dogs you’ve helped to train have a wonderful new life!

This course is run by Alpha Education (Sarah Whitehead), and is being organised by Anna Patfield or Pawsability Pet Behaviour.
