1-1 Dog Training helps your dog by allowing you to have expert help on a 1-1 basis. This then is focussing on your questions and your concerns without the distraction of other people's dogs or other people's questions.
There are a few formats available for 1-1 dog training.
Either we can meet and just work on a "do-this" basis to work on a specific dog training task. This would be a 1 hour session.
However, we do find it more beneficial if you really understand the concepts of dog training -
- what are treats for in dog training
- how to use dog training treats
- how to stop using dog training treats
- what else can you do other than use treats
- how to communicate clearly with your dog
- how to start of teaching a dog training task
- how to progress with your dog's training
This theoretical knowledge of dog training can be acheived either by attending a group session on dog training, or by setting up a 2 hour dog training session.
Where? The sessions are at Ardene House Veterinary Practice in Kingswells.
How much? The costs are £55 for a 1 hour 1-1 session, £95 for a 2 hour session, and the group workshops are £25-£45.
